Media: iPhone 12 shipments by the end of the year will amount to 63-68 million
DigiTimes published a post in which it said that according to forecasts, shipments of the iPhone 12 line by the end of 2020 will range from 63 to 68 million smartphones. Those numbers are 5 million below the iPhone 11 last year.
DigiTimes experts believe that the drop in shipments will be due to a delayed announcement and a 4-6 week delay in production amid the coronavirus pandemic.
While Apple is dragging out the date of the official presentation of the iPhone 12, various details of the fresh line of smartphones are constantly leaking to the network. There is talk of a 120Hz screen, slightly larger overall display size and improved Face ID with a wide viewing angle.
The iPhone 12 should go on sale before the end of October.
