Fortnite is no stranger to all sorts of crossovers and collaborations. More recently, the Spider-Man character Prowler has appeared in the game, as have many other celebrities from comics and even real life, such as the Ninja and Travis Scott. Though anime-to-game tie-ins are rarer, they do happen – we all remember the big Naruto crossover last November. Thus, it would be useful for Attack on Titan to appear in Fortnite one way or another.
Rumors about AoT started because of a leak. Well-known Fortnite insider Shiina recently revealed the backstory of the encrypted skins, codenamed “Rumble”. Probably meaning nothing to those unfamiliar with the Attack on Titan anime and manga, The Battle is a very important event that is currently happening on the show. We don’t want to spoil too much for those who haven’t seen the anime yet, but it’s very interesting.
Because of this, fans are speculating that AoT will feature Eren Yeager and Mikasa Ackerman. These two characters can be considered the main protagonists of AoT (along with Armin Arlelt), so if a crossover is in development it’s safe to say they will be shown. And that’s all we know about this rumor for now. We’ll update this article if we find out more.
